About

Thank you for taking a minute to learn more about RAWGOLD Wealth Management Services! My name is Holly Nehls.  I am a certified bookkeeper and Quickbooks ProAdvisor and have been working as a management consultant and bookkeeper for 8 years.

I studied small business management at Portland Community College and obtained my bachelors degree at Portland State University.  I have worked in Credit and Collections, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and other administrative support positions in large companies and decided to branch off to support small businesses in 2009.

My first real client was a small startup company called Konect Aviation who needed bookkeeping services on a budget back in 2010.  I had developed a friendship with one of the partners and my role grew from there.  In 2015 I bought out those original partners and grew the company to expand services and balance the bottom line in a seasonal industry.

There were some lessons in this venture for me, 1) I am great at and enjoy research, planning and crunching numbers but not so much the operations end of things; 2) aviation as an industry has subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) ways of resisting female leadership; and 3) my joy comes from helping others achieve their dreams.

Long story short, in February 2018 I sold the company to a long-time colleague and have decided to get back to that original vision and keep my focus there.  At the moment I am focusing on my new business plan and getting excited about the ways RAWGOLD can help your small business build a solid foundation for owner-defined success.
